Increases the threshold amount for abandoned personal property in commercial tenancies from the lesser of $750 or $1 per square foot to either $2,500 or one month's rent for the premises occupied by the tenant, whichever is greater.

Allows landlords to retain, sell, or destroy abandoned commercial property without holding a public sale if the reasonably believed resale value is below the new threshold amount.

Modifies notice requirements to inform commercial tenants that property believed worth less than the threshold amount may be kept, sold, or destroyed without further notice.

Applies only to commercial tenancies, recognizing that commercial tenants are more likely to deliberately abandon unwanted inventory or equipment compared to residential tenants.

Maintains the public sale requirement for property exceeding the threshold amount, with proceeds paid to the county after deducting storage, advertising, and sale costs.
