Adds willful infliction of corporal injury upon a spouse, cohabitant, or other specified victim (Section 273.5 violation) to crimes for which courts can order restitution for residential security expenses.

Authorizes courts to order defendants to pay for victims' home security installation, system upgrades, or lock replacements when the expenses result from a Section 273.5 violation or violent felony conviction.

Maintains existing restitution requirements that courts must order defendants to fully reimburse victims for all economic losses, including medical expenses, lost wages, mental health counseling, and relocation costs.

Preserves defendant's right to dispute restitution amounts at a hearing and allows courts to modify orders upon motion by the district attorney, victim, or defendant.
