Amends Section 1601 of the Corporations Code to allow corporations to provide copies of accounting books, records, and minutes if originals have been lost, destroyed, or are not physically located in California.

Permits copies to be inspected at the corporation's principal office in California or, if none exists, at the registered agent's physical location.

Allows shareholders or voting trust certificate holders to request documents be produced by mail or electronically, with the shareholder paying reasonable copying or conversion costs.

Extends inspection rights to records of all subsidiaries of the subject corporation.
