Replaces all references to "foreign language" with "world language" throughout the Education Code, including American Sign Language as a world language.

Adds Section 91 defining "world language" as any language other than English and declares it synonymous with "foreign language."

Updates credential and teacher requirements to reference "world language" instead of "foreign language" in single subject teaching credentials, teacher exchange programs, and professional development.

Requires school districts to assess and report on availability of world language and health course textbooks and instructional materials alongside core academic subjects.

Clarifies that the bill does not require local educational agencies to modify existing language programs.
