Prior to issuance of an entertainment work permit for minors ages 14-17, both the minor and their parent or legal guardian must receive and complete training on sexual harassment prevention, retaliation, and reporting resources.

Talent agencies must request and retain a copy of a minor's entertainment work permit before representing or sending the minor on auditions, meetings, or interviews.

Violations of these education and permit retention requirements are subject to civil penalties of $100 per violation, with exceptions for inadvertent mistakes or clerical errors.
