Authorizes modernization grants under the Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act to be used for updating air filtration systems to limit pupil exposure to harmful air pollutants, clarifying this is existing law.

Permits schools and school districts in communities with high cumulative exposure burden to work with air districts to identify school sites needing air quality improvements.

Makes schools and school districts in high cumulative exposure burden communities eligible for grants through community emissions reduction programs to implement air quality mitigation efforts, including air filter upgrades and vegetation buffer planting.

Implementation of the grant eligibility provision requires an appropriation in the annual Budget Act or other statute.
