Authorizes nonprofit charitable corporations not incorporated in California to be appointed as guardians of minors in special immigrant juvenile status cases until January 1, 2022.

Requires the nonprofit organization to be contracted by the federal Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement, to provide care and custody of the minor.

Requires the guardianship petition to be filed in connection with a petition for special immigrant juvenile status findings under Code of Civil Procedure Section 155(b).

Mandates the nonprofit organization be licensed by California to provide care for minors and comply with existing guardianship requirements under Probate Code Section 2104.

Expires and is repealed on January 1, 2022.
