Adds Section 1162 to the Evidence Code to restrict admissibility of an employee or former employee's criminal history in civil actions based on that employee's conduct.

Prohibits criminal history evidence when it does not bear a direct relationship to the facts underlying the civil action.

Prohibits criminal history evidence for convictions that were sealed by court order, reversed, vacated, pardoned, or dismissed/expunged under Penal Code Section 1203.4 before the acts giving rise to the civil action occurred.

Prohibits evidence of arrests or charges that did not result in a criminal conviction.
