Amends Section 633 of the Penal Code to add peace officers of the Office of Internal Affairs of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to the list of law enforcement officers exempt from eavesdropping and recording prohibitions.

Exempts the specified peace officers from restrictions in Sections 631, 632, 632.5, 632.6, and 632.7 of the Penal Code regarding communication interception.

Allows the Office of Internal Affairs peace officers to overhear or record communications that they could lawfully overhear or record prior to January 1, 1968.

Makes evidence obtained through such overhearing or recording by these peace officers admissible in legal proceedings.
