Eliminates depredation permits for wild pigs and authorizes property owners/tenants to take wild pigs damaging property at any time; requires 24-hour advance notice to department for nighttime takings.

Requires domestic swine with 2+ wild pig phenotypical characteristics to be permanently marked with brand, tattoo, or visible tag approved by Department of Food and Agriculture, effective July 1, 2019.

Requires Department of Fish and Wildlife to conduct management assessments for license years 2018-19 through 2022-23 and submit a report by January 1, 2025, evaluating whether wild pig takings have increased.
