Department of Pesticide Regulation must submit a report to the Legislature by January 1, 2021, evaluating the implementation and effects of the Healthy Schools Act of 2000.

Report must provide recommendations for improving implementation and efficacy of the Healthy Schools Act of 2000, which governs pesticide use at schoolsites.

Department may consult with relevant local, state, and federal agencies, stakeholders, and experts when preparing the report.

Report must comply with Government Code Section 9795 submission requirements.

Section becomes inoperative July 1, 2021, and is repealed January 1, 2022.
