Increases alternate sick leave accrual requirement from 24 hours to 40 hours by the 200th calendar day of employment (previously 120th day)

Raises maximum annual sick leave accrual cap from 48 hours (6 days) to 80 hours (10 days) per year

Increases sick leave carryover to the following year from 24 hours (3 days) to 40 hours (5 days)

Expands paid sick leave for in-home supportive services providers to 40 hours or 5 days annually beginning January 1, 2026

Changes accrual rate calculation for certain employers from one hour per 30 hours worked to one hour per 40 hours worked for specific policy exceptions
