Authorizes courts to award reasonable attorney's fees to employees who successfully sue for violations of whistleblower protections under Labor Code Section 1102.5.

Applies the attorney's fees provision to cases involving employee disclosures to government agencies or testimony before public bodies regarding violations of state or federal law.

Maintains existing protections that prevent employers from retaliating against employees for reporting violations or refusing to participate in illegal activities.
