Extends the statute of limitations for childhood sexual assault claims from 8 years to 22 years after attaining majority, or 5 years from discovery of injury (whichever is later).

Allows treble damages against defendants found to have covered up childhood sexual assault, defined as a concerted effort to hide evidence.

Extends the age deadline for filing actions from 26 years old to 40 years old for claims involving negligent or intentional acts by entities with duty of care, unless they knew of or failed to prevent misconduct.

Revives previously time-barred claims that would have expired before January 1, 2019, allowing them to be filed within 3 years of that date.

Prohibits confidentiality provisions in settlement agreements related to childhood sexual assault and removes the requirement that conduct occurred after January 1, 2009 for claims against local public entities.
