Authorizes minors age 12 and older who state they are injured from intimate partner violence to consent to medical care for diagnosis, treatment, and evidence collection without parental consent.

Defines "intimate partner violence" as intentional or reckless bodily harm inflicted by someone with whom the minor has or had a sexual, dating, or spousal relationship.

Does not apply to cases involving rape or sexual assault, which remain governed by existing Sections 6927 and 6928 of the Family Code.

Requires health practitioners to inform the minor that a report will be made to law enforcement if injuries require reporting under Penal Code Section 11160.

Requires health practitioners to attempt contacting the minor's parent or guardian to inform them of the required report, unless the practitioner reasonably believes the parent or guardian committed the intimate partner violence.
