Reduces post-master's degree supervised experience requirement for clinical social worker licensure from 3,200 hours to 3,000 hours.

Reduces the maximum hours for client-centered advocacy, consultation, evaluation, research, direct supervisor contact, and training sessions from 1,200 hours to 1,000 hours.

Allows preregistered postdegree experience to count toward licensure if applicant applies for associate registration within 90 days of earning qualifying master's or doctoral degree and the board subsequently approves the registration.

Requires applicants completing graduate study on or after January 1, 2020, to obtain experience at workplaces requiring completed live scan fingerprinting and provide a copy of the completed form with their licensure application.

Removes the January 1, 2014, commencement date for California law and professional ethics training requirements for associate clinical social worker registration.
