Designates a specified portion of Interstate 5 in Tustin (from northbound Tustin Ranch Road at post mile 28.224 to southbound Tustin Ranch Road at post mile R.28.456) as the Officer and Medal of Valor Recipient Waldron G. Karp Memorial Highway

Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signs displaying this special designation and erect them upon receiving donations from nonstate sources to cover the cost

Honors Tustin Police Department Officer Waldron G. Karp, who died on January 7, 1973, from gunshot wounds sustained while assisting on a call one month earlier at age 31

Recognizes that Officer Karp was awarded the Medal of Valor by the Tustin Police Department in 2015 and remains the only Tustin Police Department officer killed in the line of duty

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to the Director of Transportation and the author for appropriate distribution
