Marks June 25, 2018, as the 68th anniversary of the Korean War, which began on June 25, 1950, with the invasion by communist forces led by Kim Il Sung.

Acknowledges that Korea remains divided into North and South since the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed on July 27, 1953, and that the division has separated more than 10 million Korean family members.

Notes that California has approximately 750,000 residents who self-identify as Korean in origin, the largest Korean population of any U.S. state.

Calls upon the President and Congress of the United States and all sides in discussions regarding North and South Korea to continue peace negotiations with sincere intention of achieving peace and stability in the region.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to the President, congressional leadership, California's federal representatives, and the bill's author.
