Extends confidentiality protections under the Public Employees' Retirement Law to also cover the Public Employees Medical and Hospital Care Act, and allows sharing of beneficiary records with contracting agencies, school districts, and universities where the member or retired member was employed.

Requires contracting agencies terminating PERS contracts to notify affected members, former members, and retired members in writing within 30 days of adopting a resolution to terminate, with the board providing contact information in an open, machine-readable format within 7 days.

Changes the contract termination timeline from "not less than one year" to "not less than 90 days and not more than one year" after the board receives notice of intention to terminate.

Requires contracting agencies with contracts approved by electorate vote to notify members of a pending termination vote at least 90 days before the vote date.

Provides immunity to contracting agencies for failure to notify members if the contact information provided by the board is incomplete or incorrect.
