Imposes personal liability on employees for harassment prohibited under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, regardless of whether the employer knew of the conduct or took corrective action.

Extends personal liability to employees for retaliation and discrimination actions taken in connection with harassment that is perpetrated by the same employee.

Removes previous language imposing joint and several liability on employees for retaliatory actions and the requirement that the employer knew or should have known of the conduct.

Applies to employees of entities subject to employment discrimination and harassment provisions covering protected characteristics including race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, and other specified factors.
