Requires pharmacists at hospital pharmacies with more than 100 beds to obtain accurate medication profiles or lists for high-risk patients upon admission during pharmacy operating hours

Allows pharmacy technicians or intern pharmacists to perform this task if the hospital has a quality assurance program to monitor competency and has established training and proctoring policies

Mandates hospitals to establish their own criteria for identifying high-risk patients and determine appropriate timeframes for completing medication profiles based on patient populations served

Authorizes the State Board of Pharmacy to adopt rules and regulations to implement these provisions

Excludes the State Department of State Hospitals from the bill's requirements and specifies no state reimbursement is required
