Exempts tourist oriented directional signs for facilities or attractions in Tehama County that are directly related to an American Viticultural Area from the existing 10-mile distance requirement from highway intersections.

Authorizes Tehama County to place wayfinding signage on state highways in support of an American Viticultural Area located in the county.

Maintains existing distance limitations for service stations (1 mile) and food or lodging facilities (3 miles) in all other cases.

Finds that a special statute is necessary for Tehama County due to its unique needs regarding tourist-oriented directional signs for wine regions.
