Requires the Attorney General to establish an advisory group consisting of Department of Justice members, social media providers, civil liberties advocates, and First Amendment scholars to study the spread of false information on social media platforms.

Advisory group must draft a model strategic plan for social media platforms to use in mitigating the spread of false information through their services.

Attorney General must present study results and model strategic plan to the Legislature and Assembly and Senate Judiciary Committees by one year after sufficient private funding is received.

Creates the False Information Strategic Plans Fund in the State Treasury to receive private funding for the advisory group's operations, with the Department of Finance determining the amount needed.

Automatically repeals the law on December 31, 2021 if sufficient private funds have not been received and notice published by that date.
