CA SB1430

Amends Section 23390.5 of the Business and Professions Code to allow licensed winegrowers and brandy manufacturers to operate up to 2 licensed branch premises for selling wine or brandy to consumers and conducting winetasting activities, increasing the previous limit of 1 location.

Applies to any branch office, warehouse, or United States bonded wine cellar located away from the licensee's primary production or manufacturing facility for which a duplicate license has been issued.

Includes a grandfather clause preserving existing rights for any duplicate licenses that were in operation on January 1, 1966, or any renewals or transfers thereof.

Declares that no state reimbursement is required under Article XIII B of the California Constitution because any local costs result from changes to criminal penalties or definitions.
