Expands employment discrimination protections to include members of federal reserve components of the Armed Forces and members of the State Military Reserve.

Prohibits employers and other persons from discharging employees or denying employment based on military service, ordered military duty or training, or membership in military forces.

Extends prohibition on refusing entrance to public entertainment venues and places of amusement to members of the Armed Forces of the United States who wear their uniforms.

Prohibits private employers from restricting or terminating collateral benefits (health care, life insurance, disability insurance, seniority status) for employees with temporary incapacitation from military duty lasting 52 weeks or less.

Violations are misdemeanors with penalties including actual damages and reasonable attorney's fees for injured parties.
