Renames long-term care policies offered under the California Partnership for Long-Term Care Program from "home care and community-based services only" to "home care, community-based services, and residential care facility only" to more accurately describe available benefits.

Removes assisted living facility services from the list of required minimum services that must be provided under partnership policies.

Clarifies that residential care facility services are included in the minimum required services for policies under the program.

Deletes policy definitions for assisted living facilities and residential care facilities from Insurance Code requirements.

Takes effect immediately as an urgency statute to allow policies submitted for certification in 2017 to reflect the updated naming and service requirements.
