CA SB288

Renames the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) to "Covered California for Small Business Exchange" throughout the Government Code, Health and Safety Code, and Insurance Code.

Requires health care service plans and health insurers participating in the small employer market to offer at least one product within each of the four coverage levels established under federal law through the renamed program.

Updates all statutory references to reflect the new name, including in definitions, board duties, and carrier requirements for participating in the small business health coverage program.

Changes terminology from "ombudsman" to "ombudsperson" in navigator program requirements.
