Reduces the minimum number of guestrooms required for hotels and motels to qualify for tied-house restriction exemptions from 100 to 25 guestrooms.

Extends tied-house restriction exemptions to include out-of-state distilled spirits shippers with interests in the premises, retail license, or retail licensee.

Maintains existing conditions for exemption including: no more than one-quarter of gross annual revenues from alcoholic beverage sales, purchase restrictions from wholesale licensees with conflicting interests, and requirement to serve multiple brands.

Applies exemption to retail on-sale and off-sale licenses for premises that are integral parts of hotel, motel, or marine park operations.

Approved by Governor on October 5, 2017 and filed with Secretary of State on the same date.
