CA SB666

Extends postemployment restrictions for California Gambling Control Commission and Department of Justice employees who work on gambling issues from 3 years to 2 years after leaving office or employment.

Prohibits covered individuals from holding direct or indirect interests in, holding employment with, representing, appearing for, or negotiating on behalf of gambling establishments, gambling enterprises, registrants, or licensees during the 2-year restriction period.

Applies restrictions to commission members, executive director, chief, designated commission employees, and Department of Justice employees who work on or supervise gambling issues.

Creates a new crime for willfully violating the expanded postemployment restrictions, exempting the state from reimbursing local agencies and school districts for related costs under California Constitution Article XIII B.
