Appropriates $813,000 from the General Fund to the Attorney General for settlement payments in two cases: $321,000 for Valerie Thompson v. California State Rivers and Mountains and $492,000 for Suction Dredge Mining Cases.

Appropriates $5,420,541.90 from the Motor Vehicle Account within the State Transportation Fund to the Attorney General to pay the settlement in Woosley v. State of California.

Any funds appropriated in excess of amounts actually required for these claim payments shall revert to the General Fund or Motor Vehicle Account within 45 days after final payment.

Declares the act an urgency statute that takes effect immediately to expedite payment of judgment and settlement claims and reduce hardship to claimants.
