Designates a 2-mile portion of State Highway Route 101 in Del Norte County (from the Humboldt County line north to post mile R 2.0) as the Harold Del Ponte Memorial Highway

Honors Harold Del Ponte (1916-born in Crescent City), who served as the longest-running Del Norte County Board of Supervisor member (1953-1973) and was active in numerous community organizations for decades

Del Ponte's service included representing the county during the 1955 and 1964 floods and 1964 tsunami, serving as a weather observer for the National Weather Service for 55 years, and receiving the NOAA Benjamin Franklin Award

Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signs for this designation and erect them upon receipt of donations from nonstate sources to cover costs

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the Director of Transportation and the bill's author
