Requests the Department of Transportation to determine the cost of appropriate signs showing the special designation and erect those signs upon receiving donations from nonstate sources to cover the cost

Honors Senator Cogdill, who served in the California State Assembly (2000-2006) and State Senate (2006-2010), representing rural districts in central California and earning recognition as Senate Republican Leader and Profile in Courage Award recipient

Senator Cogdill was born December 31, 1950, and died July 23, 2017, at age 66; he was also Stanislaus County Assessor and President/CEO of the California Building Industry Association
