Designates the week of September 10, 2018, and that same week every year thereafter, as Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Week to recognize the region's contributions to California's quality of life.

Acknowledges the Delta's critical role in California's economy and environment, including water supply for approximately 27 million people and irrigation for more than 3 million acres of farmland.

Recognizes the Delta region's ecological importance, including support for 55 fish species and over 750 plant and wildlife species, while noting that 95 percent of historical tidal marsh has been lost.

Commends federal, state, and local agencies, nongovernmental organizations, the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy, and the Delta Protection Commission for ecosystem restoration and economic viability efforts.

Calls upon all Californians to acknowledge the high value of the Delta through observance of Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Week and encourages public schools to include Delta watershed protection in outdoor education curriculum during September.
