Approves continued study of 24 previously authorized topics by the California Law Revision Commission, including creditors' remedies, probate law, real property, family law, evidence code, and criminal sentencing enhancements.

Authorizes the commission to study and revise Chapter 6.5 and Chapter 6.8 of Division 20 of the Health and Safety Code (hazardous waste control and hazardous substances) to improve organization and eliminate obsolete provisions without making substantive changes.

Requires the commission to submit detailed descriptions of project scope to the Assembly and Senate Judiciary Committee chairs and vice chairs before commencing work, and to report any major changes during the project.

Invites commission staff to appear and testify at committee hearings on bills implementing commission recommendations to explain recommendations and answer questions, without advocating for or against legislation.

Requests the commission provide copies of its recommendations to all members of policy committees hearing bills that would implement those recommendations.
