Acknowledges the contributions of professional geologists and geophysicists to California's environment, economy, safety, and infrastructure

Recognizes that August 1, 2018, marks the 50th anniversary of Assembly Bill 600 (the "Geologist Act"), which established the State Board of Registration for Geologists on August 1, 1968

Emphasizes the critical role of geologists and geophysicists in addressing natural hazards, managing water resources, developing geologic resources responsibly, and protecting the public from environmental and geological risks

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to the author for appropriate distribution
