Allows security officers employed by registered private patrol operators and registered under the Private Security Services Act to remain on premises during rest periods and stay on call with a communication device, effective until January 1, 2027.

Requires security officers whose rest periods are interrupted to restart rest periods as soon as practicable, with an uninterrupted rest period satisfying the obligation.

Mandates payment of one additional hour at the regular base hourly rate if a security officer cannot take an uninterrupted 10-minute rest period for every 4 hours worked or major fraction thereof.

Applies only to security officers covered by a valid collective bargaining agreement that includes specified wage, hours, working conditions, arbitration, overtime, and minimum wage provisions.

Does not apply to cases filed before January 1, 2021, and the security officer rest period exemption expires January 1, 2027.
