Requires the State Department of Education to collaborate with the Trustees of the California State University and the Chancellor's Office of the California Community Colleges to examine the feasibility of integrating academic pathways and degrees into the associate degree for transfer program.

Directs the examination to focus on pathways and degrees that would require more than 120 semester units for students to progress to a baccalaureate degree.

Requires the State Department of Education to request that the Regents of the University of California participate in the examination alongside the other segments.
