State Water Resources Control Board must evaluate opportunities to issue water treatment and water distribution operator certificates by reciprocity to military veterans who performed comparable duties during service

State Water Resources Control Board must evaluate opportunities to award experience and education credits to military veterans who performed comparable operator duties at water treatment facilities, water distribution systems, or wastewater treatment plants

State Water Resources Control Board must evaluate issuing wastewater certificates by examination waiver to military veterans who performed comparable wastewater treatment plant operator duties during service

Board must consult with the United States Department of Defense when evaluating these opportunities and implement them where appropriate

Adds one additional advisory committee member to each of the water treatment/distribution and wastewater certification advisory committees who is an active or former military member with relevant water treatment, distribution, or wastewater experience
