Aims to enhance driver awareness of when they are required to stop at commercial inspection facilities pursuant to existing vehicle code requirements.

Maintains existing authorization for the Department of the California Highway Patrol to operate inspection facilities and platform scales with extended hours up to 24 hours daily at border and key route locations.
