SANDAG's 2015 regional transportation plan, sustainable communities strategy, and environmental impact report remain in effect until the agency adopts its next update on or before December 31, 2021.

SANDAG must submit an implementation report to the State Air Resources Board tracking implementation of its most recently adopted sustainable communities strategy beginning January 1, 2020, every two years thereafter.

Until December 31, 2021, SANDAG may only nominate projects for Solutions for Congested Corridors Program funding if they also meet eligibility requirements of the Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program, Low Carbon Transit Operations Program, or Active Transportation Program.

Local governments in SANDAG's jurisdiction must adopt their sixth housing element revision on or before April 30, 2021, and their seventh revision no later than 18 months after SANDAG's first 2029 regional transportation plan update.

The 2015 sustainable communities strategy must be used for consistency determinations in SANDAG's sixth housing element revision allocation plan, notwithstanding requirements to use the updated strategy normally.
