Requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to establish a program funding an academic study of mental health among women veterans in California, upon legislative appropriation.

Study must examine demographics, stressors, risk factors, treatment modalities, barriers to access, suicide rates, and other relevant information related to women veterans' mental health.

Department must submit a report with study findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than July 31, 2022.

Provisions become inoperative on July 31, 2023, and are repealed effective January 1, 2024.
