Adds human resource employees of businesses with 5 or more employees that employ minors to the list of mandated reporters for child abuse and neglect.

Adds adults whose duties require direct contact with and supervision of minors in workplace settings at businesses with 5 or more employees as mandated reporters specifically for reporting sexual abuse.

Requires employers subject to these new provisions to provide their employees who are mandated reporters with training on identification and reporting of child abuse and neglect.

Establishes that failure to report known or reasonably suspected child abuse or neglect remains a misdemeanor punishable by up to 6 months in county jail, a $1,000 fine, or both.
