Updates court security provisions in Contra Costa and Los Angeles Counties, clarifies responsibilities for court security functions, and establishes that court-related services are provided by the marshal's office in Shasta County.

Amends multiple Government Code sections to update references to superior courts, remove obsolete municipal court provisions, and modify county responsibilities for court facilities and operations following the consolidation of trial courts.
