Student Aid Commission must develop and post a centralized total cost of attendance calculator on its website to generate net price estimates for prospective students attending Cal Grant participating institutions.

Calculator must use prospective student-provided data including salary, household family size, and dependency status combined with institutional data to calculate net price estimates.

Calculator must allow prospective students to obtain net price estimates for any participating institution and compare multiple institutions in one location on the commission's website.

Cal Grant participating institutions must biennially report cost of attendance data to the commission as a condition of voluntary participation in the Cal Grant Program.

If the Commission on State Mandates determines this bill creates state-mandated costs, reimbursement to local agencies and school districts shall be made pursuant to state law.
