Requires the State Department of Education to develop and implement an internet website and web-based application for collecting information about temporary school closures from county offices of education, school districts, and charter schools, operational no later than July 1, 2021.

Mandates county superintendents, school district superintendents, or charter school administrators to notify the department of all temporary school closures each day a school is closed, with authority for county superintendents to report on behalf of all districts and schools under their jurisdiction.

Allows scheduled temporary school closures to be reported to the department in advance of closure.

Requires the department to make publicly available all information about reported temporary school closures on its internet website.

Requires the department to develop and automatically distribute a survey to local educational agencies reporting closures longer than 5 school days, collecting information about plans to deliver instruction and nutrition services, with responses due within a timeframe established by the department.
