Authorizes the California Transportation Commission to relinquish a specified portion of Route 133 to the City of Laguna Beach if the Department of Transportation and the city enter into an agreement for relinquishment.

The relinquishable portion extends from Route 1 to El Toro Road in Laguna Beach.

Relinquishment becomes effective the day after the county recorder records the commission's relinquishment resolution.

Upon relinquishment, the affected Route 133 portion ceases to be a state highway and becomes ineligible for future adoption under Section 81.

The City of Laguna Beach must maintain traffic flow continuity on the relinquished portion, including traffic signal progression, and maintain signs directing motorists to the continuation of Route 133.
