Requires school districts and charter schools offering interscholastic athletic programs to include heat stroke procedures in their written emergency action plans.

Emergency action plans must describe the location and procedures to be followed in the event of heat stroke related to athletic program activities or events.

Maintains existing requirements for emergency action plans to address sudden cardiac arrest and other medical emergencies.

Written emergency action plans must continue to be posted in compliance with National Federation of State High School Associations guidelines.
