Extends the sunset date for community college registered nursing program admission procedures from January 1, 2020 to January 1, 2025

Maintains authorization for programs to use multicriteria screening measures, random selection, or a blended combination of both when applicant numbers exceed capacity

Requires multicriteria screening to include academic credentials, GPA, work experience, life circumstances (disabilities, low income, first-generation status, refugee/veteran status), and proficiency in identified non-English languages

Mandates annual reporting to the Chancellor on nursing program admissions policies, including weights given to criteria and demographic data on admitted and completing students

Requires the Chancellor to submit annual reports to the Legislature and Governor on participation, retention, and completion rates of students admitted through multicriteria screening, disaggregated by age, gender, ethnicity, and home language
