Removes specific contact information (website www.insurance.ca.gov, phone number (800) 927-HELP (4357), and mailing address 300 S. Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013) that insurers were required to include in nonrenewal notices to consumers.

Requires the Department of Insurance to provide property insurers with current consumer contact information at least annually instead of mandating specific contact details in statute.

Applies to property insurance nonrenewal notices issued on or after July 1, 2020.

Makes minor language changes including replacing "prior to" with "before" for consistency with existing code language.
