Adds Chapter 6.6 to the Fish and Game Code to exempt landowners from civil liability for property damage or personal injury resulting from voluntary fish and wildlife habitat restoration projects on their land.

Exemption applies only when the restoration project is authorized under existing Fish and Game Code sections 1602, 1652, or 1653 and funded at least in part by a state or federal agency that promotes or encourages riparian habitat restoration.

Exemption does not apply if property damage or personal injury is caused by willful, intentional, or reckless conduct by the landowner.

Exemption does not apply if property damage or personal injury results from design, construction, operation, or maintenance activities performed by the landowner.
